Discover Dog Show in all its glory is the most fun place to be. Avid dog show followers, Licks Ladies aka Dog fashion Police were there to watch the 2012 Discover Dog show. As always, Discover dogs promised a wide variety of doggy attractions.
It gave an opportunity to meet with breeders and talk about your doggy, or perhaps get advice on a breed before you buy.
There were tons of stalls with Doggy fashion available at affordable prices and other quirky purchases for your woofer! Whether you wanted doggy ice cream or maybe even a doggy house in the garden, Discover dogs had it all!
Looking at the fashion trends there seemed to be a lot of blinging collars, a huge favourite of ours at Licks of London. I saw one young girl who was helping her mum to sell on a stand. She cleverly used her own Tres au Paris bracelet as a posh collar. Be warned though, they only look good indoors, don’t use them when walking your pooch unless you have a proper collar on too, you wouldn’t want to lose your doggy for the price of a fashion statement!
Children love Discover Dogs show at Earl’s court London. So if you’ve never taken them then we’d definitely recommend you to.
Children under 12 go free and if your disabled you and a carer can go for free too. Adult tickets are reasonably cheap and usually go on sale around August, check out next years line up at Discover Dogs.
Don’t forget though, unfortunately NO DOGS, other than those that have been invited by the Kennel Club and Registered Assistance Dogs, are permitted into the show.
So a great tip from us the Dog Fashion Police , is measure your doggy before you go, so you know what size to buy in collars and jackets. If you’re not sure how to measure your doggy for clothing then see the link to our Size Guide at the bottom of the website. Licks of London
