Queenie Woofwoof was born on a Tuesday on 25th June 2013. In the afternoon.

A Cancer star sign and a very loving little pooch, Queenie puts the ‘oo’ in WOOF! She’s had the privilege since birth to be born into our family doggy business Licks of London.

Queenie climbed the ranks very quickly and became a paw Super Star at her very first appearance on the dog scene.

She attended @pawsinthepark a cause close to our hearts, raising funds and awareness regarding puppy farming. At only 10weeks old she had to stay in her Juicy Couture bag as she was too young to go on the floor. Our vet gave her the go ahead before we left as we would never expose her to any dangers.

Queenie, needless to say, was a massive hit and exploded onto the media platform with pictures of her and celebrities hanging out in the VIP area! A super dog star had arrived. The interaction and socialization at such an early age has given her a beautiful, soft, affectionate personality which people just melt when holding her. Children love the fact that she’s so loving; with lots of licks and love, Queenie too laps up all the attention. Her favorite is been photo’d by the Pap’s; she knows just how to work a camera.A doggy with a great sense of style, with her mummies being ‘The dog fashion police’ of course she would be at the top of the doggy fashion world!

It was when she was two that she felt confident enough to bring out her own clothing range, ‘The Queenie Woofwoof’ line. Our doggy customers couldn’t get enough of the range and it sold out on the first day as it was the first showing at Paws InThe Park, Kent, Detling 2015. We sell at this event every year so do come along and see us there. Our full range will be there this year so don’t let your pooch miss out. Try to find us early as first come first served and we’re not joking, the Queenie Woofwoof range is a hot seller!

For details please go to Paws in th Park this year’s show will be on 17th & 18th September 2016.

Queenie soon was getting invites to doggy events; one was to appear on BBC’s Children. In Need where even her fan club turned up to see her. The production team loved her.

Queenie attends Crufts as an official blogger (with us of course) and has appeared in The Telegraph, The Mail and the Sunday papers at Crufts. March 2016 see’s Crufts turning 125 years old. We’re all wagging our tails bursting with excitement! Queenie will be there on the Friday 11th and Saturday 12th March 2016, if you would like to meet us for a doggy chat and photos just tweet us @licksoflondon we promise not to bite!

What Queen gets up to

You may see Queenie in your local pub, she’s known to check one out from time to time. Queenie blogs about dogs in pubs and will tweet all about where is best to go for doggy’s ,and their humans to hang out and chill.

Queenie recently went into a pub in Kew to report. The landlord had actually heard about Queenie and her blogs, needless to say she got a five star treatment  freshly cooked chicken for free! Yum, Yum . They in turn, of course got a well-deserved paws up from Queenie.

Queenie has her own mode of transport too, a blinged, pimped out pink buggy which she loves to take to doggy shows.

The reason she has this is for safety at shows, sometimes there’s thousands of people walking around at a show and Queenie is so tiny she wouldn’t be seen and could really get hurt. It also means that children can look at her safely too, and if Queenie is tired of meeting and greeting after a long day at a show then she can bury herself under her soft comfy blanket, all cozy and safe.

There are lots of benefits to a doggy buggy, check out You Tube for more details, some people judge a small dogs in a buggy without really understanding the reasons why people do it. Queenie loves her daily run but the buggy is a great aid when in really busy public places.

So what is our tiny MD of our company up to next?

Well Queenie has just sold her EXCLUSIVE life story (well the story of two and a half years so far) to a Woman’s magazine. We cannot wait for the article to come out, completely off our leads with excitement! We’ve been asked this year, by Holly & Lil to judge their 2016 Dog Street party in Bermondsey, London. It’s going to be a ‘must’ for all doggy diaries so don’t miss out! We pop up all over the country throughout the year with Queenie so check out our website, events page and say hi next time you find us!
